The Secret to Being Productive – Week 1

I’ve learned some things about myself the last couple of years that have helped me become more self aware.  If I, or you, know more about ourselves and how we tick the better we will be at managing our everyday lives. I’ve come to know that we cannot manage time, we can only manage ourselves.

We all have different personalities and different things that drive us. Me personality, I would rather screw off doing what is fun and exciting, in the moment, rather than doing what I need to get done and pushing what needs to be done onto a later date.

Solution for someone like me?

A Routine.

The video I’d like to share with you -Wake Up at 5:00 AM –  will help you some how some way. I’m sure of it. What peaked my interest was not the title of the video, but what was shared about PRODUCTIVITY and FOCUS during the short video.

I’m the type of person who benefits from having a daily routine. Small changes daily will have a huge impact down the road.

Og Mandino wrote, in “The Greatest Salesman in the World”, – “For it is another of nature’s laws that only a habit can subdue another habit. I will form good habits and become their slave.”

Daily routine = New Habit

Old habits of social media and checking email  first thing in the morning will be replaced with simple, short, physical exercises, a shower, coffee(of course) and my morning sit.

Then, working on my most productive task of the day, whatever that may be.

I encourage you to clear your mind and think what it is that you want.

Take some time.

Get off social media in the morning.

Sit and think.

Create your own life and don’t let anyone else dictate your life.
